1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to SUSU. By accessing or using our platform, website, or mobile application (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

SUSU is a digital Rotating Savings and Credit Association (ROSCA) platform that allows users to form or join savings groups, make scheduled contributions, and receive rotational payouts. We also provide a digital wallet for deposits and withdrawals.

3. Eligibility & KYC Verification

To use our Service, you must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. Know Your Customer (KYC) Verification: We are required by law to verify your identity. You agree to provide valid identification documents. Failure to complete KYC verification may result in account suspension or limitation of services.

4. User Accounts & Wallet Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and wallet PIN/password. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. SUSU will not be liable for any losses arising from your failure to secure your account.

5. Group Savings & Contributions

• Commitment: By joining a saving group, you enter a legally binding agreement to make your contributions on time for the entire duration of the group's cycle.
• Payouts: Payouts are distributed based on a predefined rotation order. You will receive your payout only when your assigned turn arrives, subject to the successful collection of funds from all members.
• Grace Period & Penalties: Contributions made after the specified deadline may be subject to a grace period. Contributions made after the grace period will incur late penalty fees as defined by the group's specific terms.
• Defaulting: Failure to make a contribution is a material breach of this agreement. SUSU reserves the right to suspend your account, deduct outstanding amounts from your wallet balance, reassign your payout slot, or pursue legal action to recover the funds on behalf of the group.

6. Deposits, Withdrawals, and Fees

You may fund your wallet using supported third-party payment gateways. Withdrawals are subject to processing times and minimum/maximum limits. SUSU may charge service fees or transaction fees for deposits, withdrawals, or platform usage, which will be clearly communicated prior to the transaction.

7. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following activities: money laundering, fraud, using the platform for illegal purposes, harassing other members, exploiting platform vulnerabilities, or creating multiple fake accounts.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SUSU and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use or inability to use the Service. While we facilitate the ROSCA, we do not guarantee the financial capacity or behavior of other group members.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Ghana. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Accra, Ghana, under the Alternative Dispute Resolution Act, 2010 (Act 798).

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
